UK Singer, Adele surprised the whole nominees, winners and rest of the world (at least for those who were watching and have seen this post) by snapping the much desired Album of the Year award in two, right on stage.
The singer, who swept a total of five awards at the event apologised after her minor setback with the George Micheal tribute in which she used curse words and had to restart her performance.
Who ever knew Adele had it in her?
The singer, meant every word of her acceptance speech said she could not possibly accept the award because Beyoncé deserved it more.
"It took an army to make me strong and willing again to do it," Adele shared, breaking down in tears. "Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Five years ago when I was last here, I also was pregnant and I didn't know and I was awarded that shortly after... In my pregnancy and through becoming a mother I lost apart of myself. I struggled, and I still do struggle being a mom. It's really hard."
The recent win makes Adele the first person to win Grammy’s Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of The Year twice.
