THIS THIN' CALLED LIFE

Life is full of colours‎. Each & every one of us come along & we add our own colour‎ to the paintin'‎. Even though it's not very big, the paintin',‎ we just have to figure out that it goes on forever, u know & in each direction to like infinity cos that's kinda like life.

It's kinda crazy if u think about it but two centuries ago, a man had a son Okoye, (my great grand-pa) ‎who begat ‎Emmanuel, (my grand-pa)‎ who begat Louis, ‎(my father)‎ & here I am with my own kinda colour‎ already marked in the paintin'‎.

The question now is‎:
• "what if we are all in the paintin' everywhere before we were born?"‎
• "what if we are in it after we die?"
• "& these colours that we keep addin', what if they just keep gettin' added on top one another
until eventually we are not different colours anymore?" We are just one thin', One paintin'.‎

My dad is not with us anymore, he's no more alive but he's with us never the less. He's with me everyday. It all just sort of fits somehow & even if we don't understand how yet, that people will die in our lives, people that we love. In the future, maybe tomorrow, maybe years from now.‎ I mean, it's kinda beautiful right?

If u think about it, the fact that just because someone dies, just because you can't see them or talk to them anymore, it doesn't mean that they are not still in the paintin'. I think maybe that's the point of this whole thin' called Life. There's no dyin', there's no me‎ or you‎ or them‎. It's just US‎.

And this sloppy wild colourful magical thin' that has no beginnin', has no endin' is right here & I think it's US.

Happy Val's Day.
Happy Ash Wednesday.‎
